Football Recap: Ooltewah Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Ooltewah was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were beaten by the Hardin Valley Academy Hawks 42-7. The Owls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Rhylon Hinton threw for 34 yards on four of 17 attempts. On the ground, Kaiden Douglas rushed for 51 yards.

Hardin Valley Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Harrison O'Dell out in front who rushed for 81 yards and one score. Those 81 rushing yards gave O'Dell a new career-high.

Ooltewah's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hardin Valley Academy, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.

As of now, neither Ooltewah nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
