Basketball Recap: Andrean Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Andrean's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Kankakee Valley Kougars by a score of 45-38. The Fighting 59ers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Kougars, too.

Among those leading the charge was Lindsay Arcella, who posted 17 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Delaney Myers, who scored five points and four steals.

Andrean's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Kankakee Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Andrean didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-38 win against South Bend St. Joseph on the 25th. As for Kankakee Valley, they will head out to face off against Rensselaer Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rensselaer Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.
