Papillion-LaVista South barely beat Kearney the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Papillion-LaVista South blew past Kearney 4-1 on Saturday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Papillion-LaVista South's Kailer Fry and Christian Lindseth and Kearney's Max Koester were all carded.

Papillion-LaVista South hit Kearney with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Asher Austin, Fry, Morgan Macke, and Owen Smallfield.

Papillion-LaVista South has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two contests. As for Kearney, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
