Todd County has gone a perfect 7-0 against Little Wound recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Indians are ranked 79th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Little Wound had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Pine Ridge with a sharp 34-12 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Todd County's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Little Wound, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Everything went Todd County's way against Little Wound when the teams last played back in September, as Todd County made off with a 44-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
