Recap: Aspen Skiers vs. Roaring Fork Rams

Winning is just a little bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 21% better than the opposition, a fact the Aspen Skiers proved on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Roaring Fork 67-37 on the road. Given Aspen's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Roaring Fork is ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Roaring Fork saw an underclassman step up: Ethan Wilson scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Brennan, who scored two points.

The victory makes it two in a row for Aspen and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Roaring Fork, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1.
