If Cromwell was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Old Lyme on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Hale Ray Noises on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Cromwell was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hale Ray's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.
