After a string of four wins, Meek's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by the Brilliant Tigers 61-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Meek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-34 back in November of 2024.

It was another big night for Hadlee Sanderson, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 17 rebounds for Brilliant. Sanderson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season. Macy Moore was another key player, going 5 for 11 on her way to 12 points.

Meek's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Brilliant, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Meek will challenge Lynn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brilliant, they and Walnut will face off at 1:35 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
