Basketball Recap: Lord Botetourt Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Lord Botetourt had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Spotswood Trailblazers 57-39 on Friday. 57 seems to be a good number for the Cavaliers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Lord Botetourt's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Spotswood, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-4.

Coming up, Lord Botetourt will square off against James Monroe at 11:00 a.m. on March 15th. James Monroe will roll in looking for their 25th straight win, something Lord Botetourt surely won't give up without a fight. Spotswood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
