Volleyball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pittsburg lost against Heritage back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-11.

Tamya Lemons paced Pittsburg's offense, picking up six kills. Lemons got some help from Zelanda Coleman and her six assists. Leilani Flood controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Heritage, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Pittsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Emerald on the 1st. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Antioch on the 2nd.
