Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Trinity Catholic couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Calvary Christian Warriors by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Celtics' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Hailey Wilson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Emma Simms, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Trinity Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Calvary Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 29-1.
