Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Takes a Loss

Elkhart lost against Sublette two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Larks.

While Elkhart was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23.

Elkhart has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for Sublette, their win ended a nine-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-21.

Coming up, Elkhart will challenge Southwestern Heights on Monday. As for Sublette, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Syracuse on the 30th.
