Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Comes Up Short

Cheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sunrise Mountain Miners.

Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sunrise Mountain, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Coincidentally, Cheyenne and Sunrise Mountain will both be playing Bonanza the next time they take the court. Sunrise Mountain will head out to face Bonanza at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Cheyenne will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
