After losing to Cedar Valley the last time they met, Springville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out the Aviators 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Springville was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-18, 19-25, 25-18, 17-15.

Among those leading the charge was William Carter, who had 12 digs and two assists. That's the most digs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Springville pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cedar Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Springville will be playing at home against Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedar Valley, they will be taking part in a tournament against Payson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
