Basketball Recap: Niangua Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Niangua duked it out withHurley on Friday. The Niangua Cardinals lost 70-46 to the Hurley Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cardinals have suffered against the Tigers since January 15, 2019.

Niangua's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hurley, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Niangua and Chadwick will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hurley will take on Pleasant Hope in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
