Onix Carson Goes Supernova in Vallivue Victory

Starting off the list is Vallivue's Onix Carson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carson rushed for 247 yards while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.

The win was the fourth in a row for Vallivue, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Carson and Vallivue are taking a road trip to take on Bishop Kelly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Emmett's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Thayn and Emmett will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nampa at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Scheibe Made His Presence Known in Emmett's 35-14 Win

Keeping Thayn company is Ryder Scheibe, a fellow Emmett player. He rushed for 106 yards on only 12 carries, and also threw for 73 yards and two touchdowns.

For the year, Scheibe has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had seven passing touchdowns.

Eli Hamilton Turns in Season-Best Performance

Bonneville was led to victory by Eli Hamilton, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hamilton threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns.

For the season, Hamilton has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 106.8 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 17.83 passing yards per game.
