Volleyball Recap: Auburn Falls Despite Big Games from Jocelyn Law and Abby Duncan

Auburn lost against Litchfield back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Purple Panthers.

While Auburn ultimately came up short, they really made Litchfield work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-14.

Abby Duncan and Jocelyn Law certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Duncan had 16 digs and one assist, while Law had 11 assists and five digs.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Litchfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Auburn will host Sacred Heart-Griffin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Litchfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Pawnee on the 8th.
