Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Sudbury Beats Wayland for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Lincoln-Sudbury had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Wayland. That's more bragging rights for Lincoln-Sudbury, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lincoln-Sudbury walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 16-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Lincoln-Sudbury found their leader in freshman Mila Gottesman, who had nine digs and four aces. Gianna Napoli also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Lincoln-Sudbury was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 19 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
