Volleyball Game Preview: East Duplin Panthers vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils + How To Watch

The East Duplin Panthers will challenge the South Lenoir Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in East Duplin's favor as the squad sits on 14 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while South Lenoir has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, East Duplin made easy work of Pender and carried off a 3-0 win.

While East Duplin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-20.

East Duplin's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Karsyn Parker, who had 16 digs, and Lauren Cottle, who had ten digs and nine assists. Those ten digs gave Cottle a new career-high.

Meanwhile, South Lenoir earned a 3-1 victory over Southwest Onslow on Thursday.

South Lenoir's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for East Duplin, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.

East Duplin took their win against South Lenoir in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
