Soccer Recap: Cedar Cliff Takes a Loss

Cedar Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carlisle Thundering Herd.

Cedar Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Carlisle, their win bumped their record up to 3-9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Cliff will face off against Lewisburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lewisburg's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Cedar Cliff's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Carlisle, they will take on Elizabethtown at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
