2015-16 record: 32-2

Memphis East had a stellar season last year and finished as the No. 21 team in the Xcellent 25 rankings. Expect four-star guard Alex Lomax and MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honorable mention Terrance Moss to be a lethal duo.

2. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Chattanooga)
Head coach: Zach Ferrell
2015-16 record: 27-3 The Hawks flew over the competition last year and ended as the No. 19 team in the Xcellent 25 rankings. Four-star combo guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be tough to stop.

3. Cordova
Head coach: Terrance Scales
2015-16 record: 30-4

The Wolves reached the Tennessee Division I Class AAA state final last year. Four-star junior point guard Tyler Harris proved his moxie last season after posting 21.1 points per game - at just 5-foot-9.

4. Brentwood Academy
Head coach: Hubie Smith
2015-16 record: 29-3



The Eagles captured the Tennessee Division II Class 2A state title last season. Look for five-star point guard Darius Garland to head the attack. The nation's top-rated junior point guard posted 18.6 points and 4.3 assists per game last year.

5. Germantown
Head coach: Jason James
2015-16 record: 23-3

Germantown completed last season as the No. 5 squad in the state. The Red Devils lost a ton of talent to graduation - but don't count out this tested unit.
