Soccer Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Hastings and North, and North kept the tradition alive. The Raiders came up short against the Polars on Monday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Hastings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while North are ranked 25th).

Hastings has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for North, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1-3.

Looking ahead, Hastings will take on Mahtomedi at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they will face off against St. Thomas Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
