Wakulla extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-2. They had just enough and edged out the North Florida Christian Eagles 5-3. The War Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.
Kendall Wimes was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Armon Lindsey, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Wakulla lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2025.
As for North Florida Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
On North Florida Christian's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Estimond, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another was Braydon Grice, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Looking ahead, Wakulla is taking a road trip to face off against Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Florida Christian, they will host Christ's Church Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christ's Church Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
