Coastal Christian had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt John Paul II Catholic on Monday. The Centurions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Saints. Winning may never get old, but the Centurions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Coastal Christian never let John Paul II Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.

Coastal Christian's offense was headlined by Leighton Grant and Chloe Carter, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Baylor Everette and her 18 assists. Grant and Carter didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Coastal Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for John Paul II Catholic, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Coastal Christian will face off against Hoggard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. John Paul II Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
