Volleyball Game Preview: A.L. Brown Wonders vs. Woodlawn Trailblazers

The A.L. Brown Wonders will challenge the Woodlawn Trailblazers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (A.L. Brown has five straight victories, Woodlawn has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, A.L. Brown beat Lake Norman 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant A.L. Brown was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Woodlawn came up short against South Iredell on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Woodlawn's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for A.L. Brown, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

A.L. Brown might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Woodlawn when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can the Wonders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
