Basketball Game Preview: North Harrison Shamrocks vs. King City Wildkats

The North Harrison Shamrocks will face off against the King City Wildkats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, North Harrison ended up a good deal behind Gilman City and lost 74-58. The Shamrocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King City). They took their match on Monday with ease, bagging a 74-29 victory over Northeast Nodaway.

King City has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for North Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

North Harrison took their win against King City in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 62-38. Will North Harrison repeat their success, or does King City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
