Basketball Recap: Derryfield Drops Highest Score of Season Against Hillsboro-Deering

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Derryfield). They came out on top against the Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats by a score of 69-59 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cougars with their most commanding win of the season.

Derryfield picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-17. As for Hillsboro-Deering, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Derryfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hillsboro-Deering has already played their next match (against Newport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
