Basketball Recap: West Fargo Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fargo South last Friday, West Fargo came back down to earth. The West Fargo Packers were dealt an 80-45 loss at the hands of the Sheyenne Mustangs on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Packers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

West Fargo's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Sheyenne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Fargo will face off against Detroit Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sheyenne, they will challenge Fargo South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheyenne is facing Fargo South at the right time seeing as Fargo South is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
