Volleyball Recap: North Jackson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Jackson extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against the Madison County Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Madison County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Madison County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addy Gustafson, who had 13 digs and three aces. What's more, Gustafson racked up 37 assists, the most she's had over her last 12 contests.

Coming up, North Jackson will face off against North Sand Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison County, they will square off against Guntersville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
