Softball Recap: R.J. Reynolds Comes Up Short

If R.J. Reynolds was feeling good fresh off their 18-4 takedown of Carver last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Demons came up short against the West Forsyth Titans on Monday, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Titans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-0 loss back in March.

R.J. Reynolds dropped their record down to 3-18 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for West Forsyth, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

R.J. Reynolds does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Forsyth, they will square off against East Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
