Baseball Game Preview: Verdugo Hills Dons vs. San Fernando Tigers

The Verdugo Hills Dons will square off against the San Fernando Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Verdugo Hills has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 22.

Verdugo Hills lost 10-1 to Marshall on Saturday.

Verdugo Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Aquino, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Aquino a new career-high.

Meanwhile, San Fernando suffered their closest loss since March 18, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of South Gate by a score of 7-5.

Miguel Mora made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

San Fernando's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Verdugo Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
