It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jefferson Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Mitchell Marauders get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering Jefferson Academy have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mitchell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Matteo Gagliano (2), Elijah Day, and Dylan Bahrenburg.

The win (which was Jefferson Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-2.

Coming up, Jefferson Academy will square off against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lamar's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
