Recap: Harlem Huskies vs. Jefferson J-Hawks

There's no place like home for the Harlem Huskies, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 60-48 victory over Jefferson on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harlem also won the last time the pair played on January 5th.

Jefferson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abbie Bracius, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kaidence Bailey, who scored 11 points.

Harlem's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13. As for Jefferson, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlem won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Crusaders at 6:45 p.m. on January 31st. Lutheran will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to take on the Blue Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
