Football Recap: Bandys Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bandys and Stuart W. Cramer squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bandys had to settle for second. They fell 60-49 to the Storm.

Despite the loss, Bandys still got an impressive performance from Brady Swett, who threw for 361 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and one score. Swett is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Bandys' leading receiver Kayden Henrickson was Swett's top target yet again, picking up 186 receiving yards and one TD.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jax Lambert, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

It was another big night for Clee Phillips, who rushed for 172 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 139 yards while completing 90% of his passes for Stuart W. Cramer. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Phillips a new career-high. Brayden Fortenberry was another key player, rushing for 74 yards and three scores.

Bandys' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Stuart W. Cramer, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Bandys does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hibriten at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine games.
