Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett lost against Holt back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between the Vikings and the Rams didn't end well, with the Vikings falling 74-57. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Holt, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Everett will take on Old Redford Academy in a holiday battle at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Holt and Stoney Creek will compete for holiday cheer at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
