Baseball Game Preview: Alleman Pioneers vs. Limestone Rockets

The Alleman Pioneers will take on the Limestone Rockets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alleman is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They came out on top against LaSalle-Peru by a score of 8-4.

Cael Kuster was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Limestone got themselves on the board against Orion on Monday, but Orion never followed suit. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chargers 2-0.

The team relied heavily on Ben Subbert, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Bryce Chapman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
