Basketball Recap: Meigs County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ooltewah last Friday, Meigs County came back down to earth. The Meigs County Tigers fell to the Roane County Yellowjackets 53-47. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 58-32.

Meigs County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Roane County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.

Meigs County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roane County, they have already played their next game, a 70-35 loss against McMinn Central on the 24th.
