Basketball Recap: Addison Skates Past Alfred-Almond with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waverly, Addison was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Alfred-Almond Eagles 71-24. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Addison's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Alfred-Almond, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Addison will challenge Avoca Central at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th. As for Alfred-Almond, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hinsdale Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
