Softball Recap: Wheatland Beats Thunder Basin for Their Fourth Straight Win

Wheatland hadn't done well against Thunder Basin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bolts. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Karley Adams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Ayden Coates was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Wheatland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Thunder Basin only posted an OBP of .417.
