Hampton Roads Academy came tearing into Tuesday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs 49-32. Given the Navigators' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 122nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hampton Roads Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nalani Carter out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Carter a new career-high in steals (seven).
