Omro had won five straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 12-2 to make it six. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Green Lake/Princeton Tigersharks. For the Foxes, this counts as revenge for the 12-6 victory the Tigersharks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Jake Hunter was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Bryce Loker was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

As for Green Lake/Princeton, they moved to 7-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Green Lake/Princeton's side, Jamison Luepke put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, Luepke gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in June of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Omro will be playing at home against Campbellsport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green Lake/Princeton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Fall River on the 11th.
