Rowlett is 2-8 against Sachse since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eagles will challenge the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Sachse will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Rowlett extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday. Everything went the Eagles' way against North Garland as they made off with a 12-1 win.

Jordan Lupplace made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Jordynn Williams and Julissa Casta?eda did most of the damage at the plate: Williams went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Casta?eda went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Williams has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Grant, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Rowlett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Sachse made easy work of Naaman Forest on Wednesday and carried off a 13-3 victory.
Like Rowlett, Sachse also got a great game from a two-way player: Maya McClarity. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. McClarity was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kendyl Cruz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Brooke Robinson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Sachse now has a winning record of 15-14-1. As for Rowlett, their record is now 20-8.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rowlett has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .569. However, it's not like Sachse struggles in that department as they've averaged .492. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Rowlett couldn't quite finish off Sachse in their previous matchup back in March and fell 5-3. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
