Omaha South won the last time they faced Benson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Packers blew past the Bunnies 12-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Packers.

Lou Hodoly was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Briton Jones, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Omaha South's record is now 17-12. As for Benson, they dropped their record down to 0-20 with the loss, which was their 28th straight on the road dating back to last season.
