Soccer Game Preview: Echols County vs. Worth County

The Echols County Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Worth County Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Echols County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Echols County lost 5-1 to Atkinson County two weeks ago.

The Wildcats' goal came courtesy of Jacky Matiniez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Despite a strong season so far, Worth County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Irwin County.

Worth County's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Echols County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1.

Echols County came up short against Worth County in their previous meeting back in February, falling 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
