Caledonia waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They enjoyed a cozy 80-63 victory over the St. Charles Fighting Saints. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caledonia pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for St. Charles, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3.

Caledonia will challenge Dover-Eyota at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Caledonia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Dover-Eyota likes a good challenge. As for St. Charles, they will face off against Rushford-Peterson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
