South Brunswick took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Cape Fear Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hurricanes 3-2. The game was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Hurricanes on their court since August 29, 2019.
