Hope Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Estancia, posting a 62-12 victory on the road. The win was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Hope Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Roman Montoya, who threw for 284 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards and two touchdowns. Breylon Willams was Montoya's top target, picking up 169 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe Indian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Navajo Prep 48-20.
