Softball Recap: Justice Wolves vs. Edison Eagles

Justice had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-12 to make it ten. They lost 20-3 to the Edison Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.

As for Edison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Edison's part, the team relied heavily on Jazmyn Roberson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. What's more, Roberson posted five RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Avery Rollins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Justice is set to challenge their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Edison will take on rival Falls Church at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
