Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew lost against Mount St. Charles Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Saints came up short against the Mounties, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, St. Andrew's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Mount St. Charles Academy are ranked fifth).

St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-0-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Andrew's will square off against Hebron Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they will head out to face off against Cushing Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
