Volleyball Game Preview: Osseo Orioles vs. Andover Huskies + Official Tickets

The Osseo Orioles will take on the Andover Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Andover took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Osseo, who comes in off a win.

Osseo took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Park Center with a sharp 3-0 win. The Orioles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Andover came up short against Champlin Park on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost five in a row.

While Andover ultimately came up short, they really made Champlin Park work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 26-24, 24-26, 25-17.

Osseo will have to contain Katelyn Eisinger as she made an impact in Andover's last game. She had 12 assists and seven digs. Eisinger has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Andover's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Osseo, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Osseo suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Andover in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Can the Orioles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
