Baseball Recap: High Point Academy Comes Up Short

High Point Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Blacksburg Wildcats, falling 15-4.

High Point Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylan Petras, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double was Petras' first of the season.

High Point Academy's record now sits at 4-11-1. As for Blacksburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-17 record.

While High Point Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
